چکیده
Abstract Floods are one of the extreme events and widespread natural disasters that significantly affect civil infrastructure livelihood people. Recently, climate change has affected rainfall pattern increased flood worldwide, especially in India. Therefore, it become essential to map potential inundation regions for various future developing appropriate mitigation management strategies. This study aims develop maps different return periods under scenarios Chaliyar basin, Kerala. An Hydrologic Engineering Center-Hydrologic Modelling System (HEC-HMS) is developed simulate streamflow SSP2-4.5 SSP5-8.5 scenarios. Later, using Center-River Analysis model. It observed near (2031–2040) far (2071–2080), simulated higher SSP5-8.5. However, mid-future (2051–2060) resulted a than scenario. A maximum 19.52 m water surface elevation occurred at Kizhupparamba during SSP2-4.5, followed by 18.38 Cheekode SSP5-8.5, 100-year period events. showed hydrologic hydraulic models could be effectively combined mapping areas.

Uncertainty Investigation of Precipitation and Temperature Scenarios for the Sira Basin under Climate Change Impact
Results of assessment of the future climate change impacts is associated with some uncertainties. Considering the range of uncertainties increases reliability of the results. In this study, climate change impacts on daily precipitation, maximum and minimum temperature of Sira basin are assessed using LARS-WG model, for 2036-65 period. Accordingly, uncertainty of new emissions scenarios (RCP2.6،...

The IPCC TAR (2001) suggests that Southern and Central European countries may become highly vulnerable to global warming. In the frame of the Hungarian national climate change program, adaptation of regional models with fine horizontal resolution (10-25 km) is in progress. Since detailed simulations and evaluation of the final results are not available yet for the Carpathian Basin, results of t...

متن کاملPrediction of Climate Change in Western of Iran using Downscaling of HadCM3 Model under Different Scenarios
Abstract Considering that water resources are at risk from climate change, the study of temperature and precipitation changes in the coming years can lead to droughts such as droughts, sudden floods, high evaporation and environmental degradation. To this end, global climate models (GCMs) are designed to assess climate change. The outputs of these models have low spatial accuracy. In order ...
